What should I expect at my first treatment session?
The first session, whether in-person or remote, will consist of you and your practitioner going over a comprehensive medical history, followed by an evaluation, and then treatment application in accordance to your MindBody’s priority(ies). You can wear any type of clothing. We suggest that it is comfortable and flexible enough for you to sit/ stand/ lay down without restrictions.

What is my investment in myself for a treatment session?
Sessions range from $100 up to $360 USD depending on the practitioner you are working with and the session type. Payment is due at the time of service and is accepted via cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, HSA or FSA cards, as well as most major debit and credit cards (through our secure electronic system).

Does your practice accept my insurance?
We do accept HSA (health savings account) and FSA (flexible spending account) cards for payment.
We do not, however, contract with any insurance companies because they do not support the integrative, whole person model of care. Contracting with any insurance company would unfavorably dictate and thus alter our treatment approach and would be in strong opposition to our philosophy.
Our promise to you is that we are dialoguing with your innate MindBody allowing us to implement the treatment approach that best serves you and in turn honors your MindBody’s priority(ies) in each session.

How should i feel after my treatment session?
Like a snow globe. Meaning, that if your MindBody is a snow globe, treatment is intended to gently and with the utmost respect, ‘shake’ you up. ‘Shake’ means that we are engaging the priority system(s) within your MindBody, waking them up, causing the snow globe effect. With that said, you may feel the ebbs and flows of your system reconfiguring over the next, on average, 3-5 days (for adult humans; babies, kids, & animals are quicker to settle usually). You will be provided with details more specific to you at your treatment session based on what system(s) were treated that day.

is my provider competent?
Honestly, we are incredibly grateful you asked this. Not to gloat or throw credentials at you, but rather from a deep heartfelt intensity, that you should know who you are working. We believe it is important for you to know not only what your provider is trained to do, but that what modalities/ techniques/ etc. they implementing is in fact within their scope of practice. Dr’B’ has been called to be an expert witness multiple times in cases where a ‘provider’ has claimed to be trained in a certain treatment approach (especially pelvic floor) where in fact they were NOT formerly trained in nor was it within their scope of practice to perform.
Additionally, there is a lot of noise out there, via social media platforms, coaching, and more in which people are claiming to be an ‘expert’ in or to ‘treat’ a certain clientele but in essence have no formal training and/or very minimal experience. With that said, we give you permission to always ask these types of questions to any provider you are considering working with. Don’t be shy, if they are legit, they should be thrilled to have that conversation with you and educate you in regards to their training, philosophy, as well as your needs and expectations.
